O2 is probably better known for offering mobile phone services across the UK, but in 2007 the company decided to extend their services into offering ADSL broadband packages in the UK. Over the last few years O2 have successfully managed to position themselves as one of the leading broadband service providers in the country.

O2 offer a wide range of broadband services under their O2 broadband range. With their ADSL2+ internet service, O2 broadband offers customers unlimited net access with maximum connection speeds ranging up to 20Mbps with discounts available for O2 Pay Monthly and Pay & Go users.

O2 broadband packages include a free O2 wireless router, along with free 24/7 technical support for all customers. O2 also offer up to ten free email accounts for each new customer along with their popular O2 Email to mobile service. In terms of software, each O2 broadband package also comes complete with McAfee security software, enabling new customers to set up and protect their home broadband networks right from the start. O2 also offer static IP addresses to customers priced at an additional £5 per month.
